Why was my Suave payment declined?
Common reasons:
🔸 Insufficient funds
Not enough money on your card to cover the payment. We'll email you, then automatically retry 2–3 times within 3–4 days of the original due date. Make sure your card is funded.
🔸 Invalid account info
Card details may have an error. Check the card number, expiration date, and CVV in the app.
🔸 Card not supported
Some cards don't support our transaction type. Contact your card issuer to confirm.
🔸 Do not honor
The card was declined without a specific reason. Contact your bank directly — this is usually a bank-side restriction.
Important: The Central Bank applies an exchange tax that must also be available on your card. Aruba: 1.3%. Curaçao: 1.0%. Make sure your card covers both the payment and the applicable tax.
